This originally was a bolt on service once a network had been installed and was designed to cover all questions and queries raised following a major change within a business and today we continue to offer a honeymoon period after an installation at no additional costs. A formal 3 monthly rolling contract was the offered to clients which included all engineering time and we called this Premier IT Support. Due to the fully comprehensive cover of Premier, the cost proved to be an instant hurdle insurmountable by some clients which lead to Elite IT Support being created which offered all the features and benefits of Premier IT Support with out the fully comprehensive cover and onsite visits were charged at an hourly rate. This is service is now the main offering and Premier is generally only taken by clients to cover servers. A client who subscribes to IT Support enjoys unlimited access to a helpdesk where the engineers are able through “IP Connect” take control of desktop, laptop, and servers to resolve problems encountered by users. Statistics show that more than 85% of calls recorded by the helpdesk are resolved in this manner reducing the onsite engineering overhead to the client. The remaining 15% is variable figure covering installation of new equipment and resolving problems where the helpdesk is not able to gain access via “IP Connect”. A Service Level Agreement (SLA) which guarantees response to servers, Internet connectivity, and network infrastructure within 4 hours and 8 hours on all other equipment installed. In reality the majority of calls received via the help desk are taken too resolution within 2 hours. Although we have two standard offerings to clients, we are not fixed to these services only.
